Day 22 - Target, Birthdays, Poo & Comments...

Day 22!!! I have always heard it takes 21 days to create a new habit. I am on day 22 so the next 343 days should be a breeze, right?

I am a big fan of Target. I love their baby clothes, picture frames, children's bedding, shoes, toys...EVERYTHING :o) However, there is one exception...

They keep their buggy corrals cleared out! Whoever they hire to take their buggies in, takes their job very serious! As a mom to four kiddos, I really appreciate having a buggy in the corral to load the kids in so I can wheel them into the store rather than carrying them. I drove around the entire lot before finding ONE lone buggy.
Hello, Mr. buggy...so good to see you :o)

It's all about the little things.

This morning, the little kids and I went to a birthday party for sweet little AB. I love this little girl. She is sooooo sweet. She is in Sophie Le's Sunday school class and also in my MDO class twice a week. AB's older brother was Hillary Ashton's first "boyfriend." For the record, we had a talk about boyfriends and she decided that she would wait until college to pick out her next boyfriend :o) Haha.

Here are the cuties!

The girls were in a super silly mood...perfect for a birthday party!

AB is one of the most beautiful children I have ever seen!

All of my girls are on the beautiful list too :o)

Here is the "cake." The ice cream cones were baked with cake mix inside the cone and then topped with icing. Super cute!

Sophie Le and her friend, AA. AA is also in Sophie Le's Sunday school & MDO class. She has a a four month old sister AND brother...twins! They are ADORABLE!

Soooooo sweet. Birthday parties are the BEST! Happy Birthday AB!!

During the party, Jonah's attorney (called an "attorney ad litem") called. I got some additional information about his case. Turns out Mom was a little confused about a few IMPORTANT facts she initially gave to DHS. These facts are what caused the switch in plans for Jonah's case. We are still praying for a miracle that sweet baby Jonah will be able to join his forever family soon. I know miracles happen and I hope we get one!!

You are off the hook yet, one more topic...poo :o) We are having a little bit of a problem in that area. I say "we," but I mean Jonah...haha! I tried diluted apple juice today and he got a little relief, but things aren't back to normal. He has been pretty fussy which is pretty unusual for him. The next course of action is a suppository. Uggg! This is not something I am not looking forward...at all. I am hoping things work out naturally :o)

Thank you all so much for your encouraging comments, they really mean a lot to me :o) I don't know if anyone ever checks the other comments or not, but I have started writing you back :o)

They NEED us!

Love all the birthday party pictures. Love Target too! I always park as close as I can to the buggy thing so I can get one to use on the way in and so I don't have far to walk to return the buggy after I load the kids and stuff in the car. The logistics of a stay-at-home mom!

I love that you are posting everyday. The pics are great so keep them coming.

Target is a big favorite of mine. Very dangerous store. LOL!!!

You might want to try diluted prune juice. That works a lot better than the apple juice. We have to use that on Bennett from time to time. My sister has had to use it on her boys as well. Gets things going right away if you know what I mean :-)

Amy,

How did we get so lucky? You have the most beautiful girls in the world and I have the most beautiful boys. God is so good!

Target...my second home. Everyone in our house loves Target. If Ian can't think of anything to do he'll say "let's go to Target".

Keep up the posting. I love seeing pictures of your sweet family.

Hugs from Oklahoma!

ok, this is going to sound gross, but this is what my youngest doctor told me to try when she was an infant and hadn't "gone" in a week. If you take a thermometer(obviously a rectal one) and do like you're going to take their temp. and just push down (gently of course) it stimulates them to "go". Hope that helps.......
