Day 26 - Date night...

This morning started out a little rough...

Daddy had to leave for a business trip and Hillary Ashton was so sad :o( So very sad. She walked him out to the car this morning and then sit on the steps in the garage until it was time to leave for school. Then when we got to school, she cried and cried while we sat in the car. This is so NOT Hillary Ashton. When I picked her up this afternoon, her teacher told me that she asked her class to pray for her daddy to be safe and to have a good time while he was out of town :o) Luckily, her teacher said she didn't seem upset during the school day :o) I just LOVE how much my girls LOVE their daddy :o) We got a good one!

Daddy sent me this picture he took with his cell phone...

When he was unpacking his suitcase, he found these prizes. Apparently someone thought Daddy might need some reminders from home :o) Haha!

Before any of you bad guys get any ideas, let me share with you a few facts:
1. We have a monitored alarm.
2. I have pepper spray on my nightstand.
3. I am packin' heat

Okay, I feel better :o)

Tonight our church had "Parent's Night Out." PNO is AWESOME!!! They have it twice a month from 6-9:00...free childcare :o) Sweet!

I dropped off the three little kiddos and me and my big girl went out on a date :o) I let her pick what she wanted to do and she chose...Playtime Pizza :o) No compliants from me! As we were walking into Playtime Pizza, she grabbed my hand and said, "Mommy, this is our second date. Do you remember our first date to Tiger Tunes? I really like going on dates." Haha!

We started our night with a nutritious meal...cheese pizza, dr. pepper (they only drink this on special occasions :o) and mashed potatoes!
Followed by dessert, of course!
Next, we played a few games. This is her FAVORITE game. Squishing aliens!
She then proceeded to beat me at several games of "air pockey"
Followed by more games :o)
This particular game has a princess character named "Peach." She thinks that is beyond hilarious!
I LOVE that she still likes the "baby area" I know this photo is blurry, but I LOVE it :o)
As a matter of fact, most are blurry...but LOOK her eyes are open :o)
Before we left, we decided to have a little snack :o)
I think two bowls of ice cream and two sodas are fine...we both did Day 3 of The 30 Day Shred before out date :o)

I can't wait for our next date!

So sweet that Hillary Ashton didn't want her daddy to leave! I am sure that Playtime Pizza helped ease her pain! :)

I think the blurry photos are precious - just like your sweet girl.
