Day 5 - School & a Fancy Birthday Party...

Today was a COLD day. We got into the car to leave this morning and it was 19degrees...that's just too cold! We did make it to school on time...so a HUGE "whoo hoo" for that!

I just LOVE how the little girls grab each other's hand when we get into the car. For that reason alone, I am lovin' the new ride :o)

After dropping off the big kid at school, the little kids and I headed to church for Mother's Day Out. We are so blessed to have such a beautiful church filled with sweet, loving people in our area.

We had a good day at "school." Sophie Le is actually in the class I "teach" and Julianne and Jonah are just right down the hall. I love being able to peek in a see how the little ones are doing throughout the day. I totally took that for granted last year when Hillary Ashton was in preschool at our church. I soooooo miss being able to visit her class during the day. Sniff, sniff.

After school, I snapped a couple pics of my sweet girls...
Sophie Le is super proud of her new backpack
She wanted me to make sure and get a "good picture of the backpack" haha!
Does she not have the BIGGEST eyes ever? I just love her eyes!
Please ignore the cracker mess around her mouth :o) Can you believe how long her hair is getting? I have been pleasantly suprised at how easy her hair is to fix.
Here's Jonah after school :o)
And after 30 minutes in the car-pool lane, we get to pick up this little sweetie! I just can't tell you how happy I am to see her at the end of the day! I think she is the only kid at her school that gets carried to the car...haha! I am hoping she doesn't start thinking it is un-cool to be carried by her mama. She was quick to tell me that she loved wearing her "Twinkle Toes" to school and they didn't distract anyone :o)

Tonight, we celebrated our friend Jenna's 3rd birthday. It was a Fancy Nancy party and it was...well...FANCY :o) And Fun!

This is sweet Jenna and her mama. I met Jenna's mama at an adoption information meeting several years ago. Jenna came home from Korea a couple months after Sophie Le came home from Vietnam. Two little girls from very different parts of the world, friends here in Arkansas. Adoption is amazing!

This party was right up Hillary Ashton's alley!
Sometimes, it takes Sophie Le a little time to warm up. At first, she had NO intentions of dressing up.
However, when she does finally warm-up...watch out :o) She is a party animal...haha!
I can TOTALLY see a grown-up version of Hillary Ashton looking just like this...fancy dress, gloves, diamond ring, drinking out of a fancy glass...she does not get her fancy ways from her mama :o)
Birthday girl blowing out her cookie candles...
If you look close, you can see Sophie Le's manicure from last night...she requested a pink and purple pattern for her fingernails.
Hillary Ashton and the birthday girl...will I EVER get a picture of Hillary Ashton with her eyes open using flash?
Sophie Le working on her fancy purse...
Check out the jewels...

We are so thankful for another fun day!

I am watching Jay Leno and Kim Kardashian just came out...gotta go grab Neil and let him know :o) Hahahahahaha!

What a FUN party! I am needing ideas for A's 3rd bday party in February. She wants "pink & purple doggie cupcakes"...so I guess that is our theme! Know if anyone willing to dress up in a dog costume and make balloon animals (dogs)??? :)

I am laughing at you making fun of poor Neil and his crush on Kim K. Poor guy ;P.

Where did LeLe's green coat and gloves come from? We need something a little warmer and I love them.
