Day 6 - Four hours...

First of all...have you guys seen Kate Gosselin's makeover? Oh my gosh...I can't believe how different she looks!
Before...

After...

What do you think?

So...FOUR hours. That is a pretty significant amount of time, wouldn't you agree? In fact, it is only one hour short of the amount of time we spend at Mother's Day Out on Tuesdays and Thursdays. During our time at MDO, we play, eat, have a snack, go to the playroom, watch a movie and take a nap.

Today the little girls and I took Jonah to the doctor for a scheduled check-up. We were there for FOUR hours. Is it just me or is that just unreasonable? Can I also add that when we got to the doctor's office, there were only three other people waiting? I don't get it. Jonah's appointment was at 10:00 a.m. and I was pushing it to stop and get the little girls some lunch and make it to Hillary Ashton's school in time to pick her up at 3:00 p.m.!

After several hours of entertaining an 18 month old and a 3 year old in the waiting room (and trying to keep them from touching everything!), I must have lost my mind. When the doctor came in, I couldn't remember Jonah's real name...whoops! Haha! The good news is that Jonah's doctor said he is doing well and he was pleased with his progress. Sweet baby boy weighed in at a whopping 8 lbs, 11 oz! He got three shots and some blood drawn...he is not a fan of either one of those things...poor baby! Jonah has two more doctor visits next Monday and the Monday after that...please send good wishes our way that we can get in and out MUCH quicker than today!

Needless to say, we were MORE than ready to get outta there! After we got home, Sophie Le and Julianne crashed and slept until 6:45 p.m. That means they are up and ready to go...at their normal bedtime :o)

The weather forecast is calling for more snow tonight and ridiculously low temps. I hope they are wrong :o)

Here is the only pic I took today...

The warm, cozy fire my hubby just built :o)

You were nicer than me...I would have left after an hour & rescheduled! We have our fire on too....supposed to be frigid for the next few days! Brrrrr.....

WOW. I would have had to leave, too. You have amazing patience--and I'm sure you were still SO nice after waiting that long!!! I'm glad J is doing well though.

Oh, Amy. I know you hate it when I say this, but you amaze me. You are amazing.
