Day 121 - Building a Garden...

Julianne took a L.O.N.G nap this afternoon so I finally had to wake her up. I am so thankful to have such good little napers! I gave her a quick snack before bringing her out to help with the garden. This little girl LOVES bananas!

I told her that Daddy and the girls were outside building the garden and for some reason she was shocked...haha! That girl cracks me up...everyday...several times a day!

I bought the sweet little dress she is wearing in Vietnam and Sophie Le wore a matching dress today too...they looked precious together! I should have taken their picture together...what was I thinking ? Haha!

So...the garden. It may be small, but it was a lot of work. Luckily, Daddy and the girls did all of the work while I took pictures...haha!
Hillary Ashton graciously held the boards up while Daddy nailed the frame together, but she was quite vocal about the fact that holding the boards "all day" was "very boring" :o) Haha!

However, they LOVED dumping the dirt into the garden!

The little one thought the sight of dirt being dumped from a bag was the funniest thing she had ever seen!
DSC08334
Really, I didn't see what was so funny...but I still enjoyed watching my babies laugh :o)

My little designer made a cute headband out of one of the bags...let's hope she doesn't want to wear it to school tomorrow :o)

Lucky Daddy. He is never at a loss for good help.

These girls sure know what to do when Mama points the camera in their direction! Haha! Even if they are in the middle of a little raking :o)
DSC08343
They would make good rake models :o)

Taking a little break while Daddy put up the chicken wire...

Finally, time to plant our veggies!!

A little side note...the two little girls LOVE to wrestle with each other. It is soooooooooo funny to watch!

Luckily, Sophie Le took a break from Wrestle Mania 2010 to plant some zucchini...

You have the cutest farmers! I wish we were planting a garden. Maybe next year. I don't think this is the year for us. But, I sure hope we get an invite for the watermelon. :)

And I loved J's "shocked" photo--that's funny! She seems so full of personality!

Those are such cute pictures! Your girls look like they are always having fun. I love the pic of Neil with J where they are planting together. It is so sweet to see her tiny hand next to his. Precious daddy daughter moments are awesome!
