Day 144 - Purple Cow, Marshmallows & Rainbow

Thanks for the support regarding yesterday's post. It is quite frustrating knowing a thief is in close proximity to you and you don't know who it is, especially at church. Today two of my friends realized they also had money taken from their wallets last week. Ugg!

Tonight we dropped the little kiddos off at Parent's Night Out and took our oldest to dinner to celebrate the completion of her kindergarten year. I can hardly believe how fast this year has gone! My baby has grown so much, emotionally, academically and especially spiritually. It has been a wonderful year. I am one lucky mama!
Her restaurant of choice? Purple Cow, of course :o)
I just LOVE being able to spend time with each child of our family, individually. It is so nice to give them the opportunity to be the center of attention. I learned a lot tonight :o)
After dinner, we stopped by the library for more books and a couple new dvds. I just LOVE the library. It is so nice to be able to tell your kids, pick out anything you want, we can get it :o) Haha!
Next we went to Whole Foods to pick up some marshmallows. However, these aren't any ordinary marshmallows...these are Gelatin Free marshmallows from Israel!!!!!!!!!!!! You have NO IDEA how excited I am about this find! When I was a kid, I LOVED rice krispie treats. I stopped eating regular marshmallows (which you HAVE to have to make rice krispie treats) when I became a vegetarian twenty years ago...until now!!! I plan on making a batch tomorrow...I am so excited! Yum, yum, yum. My mouth is just watering thinking about it...I hope they are as good as I remember :o) Thanks Tricia for the tip!!
As we were leaving the store, we saw a beautiful rainbow...you can barely see it in the picture. I just LOVE seeing the beautiful reminder of God's promise to us.

Another great day! I can't believe I have made it 144 days :o)

I can't believe you have made it 144 days either! There are so many days that I want to leave a comment, but I have checked blogs from my phone and don't comment or I just don't have time at that moment. But I really enjoy seeing what you guys are up to! Keep up the good blogging! All of your kids are precious!
