Day 287 - Water Blog Action Day!!

Thank you for your kind words and support. Today was much better than yesterday (I even took a nap this afternoon) and I am sure tomorrow will be even better :o) Honestly, I feel really sorry for the people that robbed us. I cannot imagine the extreme desperation they must have felt that turned them to a life of crime. I am sorry they felt they didn't have any other options than to knock down my back door. I am praying for them and I hope you will too. Life isn't fair. I don't know what their life is like. All I know is that I am blessed to live the life I live. I am thankful for that.

Moving on...

October 15 is Charity: Water's blog action day. I am not sure there is much left for me to say on the subject of water, but I will do my best :o) Haha!

There is a NEED. We CAN help. It is EASY to help. YOU can SAVE lives. Pretty simple, huh?

I know I am preaching to the choir because YOU have HELPED! YOU have made a difference :o) Because of this blog's readers, an entire village in Africa WILL have access to clean, safe water. THANK YOU!

There are still many, many, many, many more villages that NEED help. There are more moms, dads, uncles, aunts, kids and babies that NEED water.

There is lots of work to be done. Every person deserves clean water. Every single person.

Even though our campaign is over, Charity: Water will still happily accept your donations :o) For $25, one person will obtain access to clean water for 20 years. Click here to make a donation.

You can also sign a petition in support of clean water...I put a link on the top, right column of this blog :o)

You can also blog about the need for clean water and link it up to the Charity: Water website.

We have a busy, fun weekend ahead of us. I am thankful for beautiful weather, sweet kids and the 19" television I got for Christmas in the 8th grade that my hubby found in the garage :o)
