Day 292 - Voting, Foster Care and Afros...

This morning Jonah had a visit. I took advantage of having only two kiddos and went to the early voting pole. Having done it both ways, I can definitely say voting with two kids is much more desirable than voting with four! Just a little tip from me to you...haha!!

We received AWESOME news about Jonah's case this morning. Two hours later, we received HORRIBLE news about Jonah's case. An hour after that, we got GREAT news about Jonah's case. Thus is foster care. The only thing I can say for certain is that Jonah needs prayers.

A blogger Friend, Tara (Thanks Tara!), shared with me a new African-American Sesame Street character that celebrates her hair. The creator for the character adopted a daughter from Ethiopia and wanted to encourage her to embrace her beautiful hair :o) Julianne could have totally written the line, "Wear a clippy or a bow or let it set in an Afro" :o) Haha...LOVE it! So cute. You can watch it here...

I love this video, Eva has watched it over and over. And I love that I've seen it on tons of blogs and have gotten it sent to me in a few emails already too. Go Sesame Street!
