Day 319 - Can I get a Roll Call...

I am tired. First grade homework is wearing me out...haha! So I just have two things to talk about tonight...

First of all, can you believe Bristol Palin is in the final three on Dancing With the Stars? Brandy was voted out tonight. I am so surprised. I have no idea who is going to win.

Secondly, I primarily keep this blog for my girls. I want them to be able to look back and see how we spent our days together. As an added bonus, my sweet hubby LOVES reading about our days too since he is at work during the days and I am sure he is wondering what in the world we do everyday...haha! I also know grandparents like to see pictures of the girls (and sweet boy). Other than that, I am really surprised anyone else reads our blog...seriously. I feel like we are soooo boring! Haha!

So, I am curious. Who is out there?

If you have an extra few seconds, I would love to know who's out there :o) Just leave a quick comment, even if it is just your name.

Maybe I will find the time to pick up the camera tomorrow. I don't think my girls (or boy) have been documented pictorially this week...gasp! Haha!

Marianne from Texas is here. I think I came to your blog from Kelly's but I don't know how I got to Kelly's... anyway, I fell in love with the first picture I saw on your blog which was your precious Julianna! Then reading on, came to see two more beautiful girls and a precious boy I hope to "see" all of his happy face some day. You are not boring at all, to this grandma, for sure. I got involved in following the fund raiser for a water well and I excited to get to see it being built!

I read. :) I can't remember exactly how I came across your blog, but I'm sure it was through another adoption blog.

Hi. I found your blog through Jamie's blog. After reading a few times...I was hooked! Then I realized that I kind of know you. Hillary Ashton and Cooper were in the Little Gym together several years ago. We just recently moved to Texas but I love keeping up with your sweet family and getting ideas from you on how to be a good mom. You have a sweet family and I love all your fun crafty ideas!

I check your blog to read your sweet family's daily adventure :) I'm a regular reader since when Sophie Le was still a baby (omg, how did she growing up so fast?)

You're 1 of my inspiration to adopt in the future!

I'm a former CRA mom, and I have known Neil and his parents for many years. I found your blog from other CRA "kids'" blogs. I enjoy reading your blog everyday, and it is most definitely not boring.

Another CRA friend here! I grew up in Paragould and went to church with Neil's family forever and a day. We are also an adoptive family (one from Guatemala, one from good ol' Texas), so I love that aspect of your blog. We were in process with our oldest around the same time you were waiting for Sophie Le, so my parents and your in-laws would alwasy update each other at church on Sundays :)
Well, since I am de-lurking, I will go ahead and say that I saw you at the 4th of July celebration in Little Rock. It was like a celebrity sighting--ha! You were chasing one of your children and so was I, so I didn't get a chance to say hello. Next time, I will make sure I do!

Two things brought me to your blog - I went to school at CRA with Neil from 3rd to 9th grade. After that, we moved overseas and ever since then international adoption has been a subject that tugged at my heart. Am so glad to see that your family has had this amazing opportunity

I found your blog just this weekend. I was on fb, and was on Hannah H's page, and notice you telling her thank you for babysitting. I clicked on your page to see if you were a foster mom and then saw your blog. I got sucked in and read a lot of it. Your children, and your photos are beautiful!

We just adopted our 2 youngest boys from foster care...so that is why I was "wondering if you were a foster parent"...it is like a radar that goes off...another mom like me! haha

Sorry it's late! I've been reading since you went to Vietnam. I was REALLY hoping to travel with you, but got bumped to June. All's well that ends well, though, as we got to travel with Beckett and Avery!

Okay, so I was getting ready to comment on this yesterday and was literally sitting here thinking of what to say when we got "the call". So needless to say, I dropped absolutely everything. I have been reading your blog for probably around a year. I read it daily and love, love, love it! It's one of my absolute favorites.

I do! I found your blog after I read the book Silent Tears: A Journey of Hope in a Chinese Orphanage by Kay Bratt. I visited her homepage and somehow stumbled upon your blog. I've been reading your posts for a little bit less than a month now. I'm hooked. I honestly thought that I would never adopt. After reading the book and finding your blog, it has really inspired me. I am honestly considering adoption once I get to that point in my life. I'm 23 and still a college student, so I have a long way to go. You and your family are awesome!

Hey Amy! I love reading your blog and keeping up with you and your family. It's amazing the path the Lord has brought you on since college. Glad that I can keep up with you this way. Hopefully we will see you in real life sometime! Karen

I think I found your blog on a list of people who had adopted from Ethopia and started following you a few months ago. I just love your sweet little family and I can't wait to start our journey into adoption!!

I came across your story in a local magazine and then after Kate came home, everyone at church kept asking me if I knew you. So glad that I do now!
Even though our adoption stories are very different, it is so amazing to read about Sophie Le's and Julianne's journeys. Our God is so very good!
