Day 323 - Our Day & A Love Story...

I had big plans of putting up the Christmas tree, grocery shopping, cleaning the girls' room and doing some laundry today. However, none of those things happened.

And I wouldn't change a thing :o)

Instead, we cuddled on the couch and watched cartoons this morning and then watched some videos on YouTube (the girls LOVE YouTube!). We stumbled upon these funny duck videos that the girls really liked. They requested to watch the duck over and over. Apparently, we are the only ones that have never heard of the Duck Song...it has been watched over 18 million times! We may be responsible for a few hundred of those views...haha!

Here is part 1...

You can imagine the excitment when we found part 2...

And part 3...

We had our favorite meal for lunch...potato soup. I was out of real potatoes so I used canned potatoes instead. It turned out okay and I may use them again if we are in a pinch, but we like real potatoes better :o)

We watched some more cartoons this afternoon and played with Jonah's new birthday toys which just so happen to be the girls' FAVORITE toys right now. Haha! Jonah walked laps in the living room while pushing his new Mickey Mouse car. He LOVES walking :o) I am not sure I am ready for that, but it's not about me now is it? Haha!

After supper, we headed back to the couch with some popcorn and watched The Christmas Carol.

I think we will stick to the Mickey Mouse Christmas Carol version from now on...this one was bit scary for the girls.

One last thing. I read the sweetest love story about a man named, Harold and his wife Lea. If you have a minute, hop over to Kay's blog to read about these precious souls...

Sweet.
