Day 324 - Happy Birthday!

This morning, Hillary Ashton woke up, got Jonah out of bed, changed his diaper, got him dressed and made him a little pallet on the floor surrounded by his toys. When I woke up and walked into Jonah's room to get him, she said, "Don't worry, Mama. I got my baby ready." I have to remind her often that Jonah is MY baby, not hers! Ha!
I have been so amazed at how well she has adjusted to each child that has been brought into our home. She loves each child and accepts them fully from the beginning. Yesterday, she was begging us to foster a BIG sister because she "has always wanted a big sister. Big sisters are the best and they love little sisters and we got lot of them. I think my big sister will like giving me piggy back rides." Where does she get this stuff? She tells me that she is going to adopt twenty kids when she grows up. I think she just might do that.

So after getting the other three kids ready ('cause why would she get herself ready..haha!), we went to Ganny and Papa Texarkana's house to celebrate Gan's birthday!
The girls had a blast checking out Gan's new house, riding around on the golf cart and playing with their cousins.
Happy Birthday Gan!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jonah's smile! Even WITH the heart. :) Tell H.A. that it's totally possible to adopt 20 children because I have a friend that did! Well, 3 of them are from her tummy. And they are so very happy. You can see a picture at
The oldest 2 children have already grown up and left home so they are not in the pictures.
