Day 348 - Santa Baby Leg Warmers...

Oh my goodness.

LOVE!

I made the girls each a pair of Santa Baby Leg Warmers this afternoon and I am IN LOVE with them.

I was strolling through Target yesterday and I saw these Women's knee high socks...

Red and white strips...Santa fur...it was love at first sight. Although, for a lady? Hmmmm....not sure I could pull off the knee high Santa sock look :o)

However, I knew I HAD to have them. Think...think...think...LEG WARMERS!!

If you would like to make a pair for your sweetie, here is a "how-to."

First, make three cuts in your sock as shown in the picture below...

Next, take the piece you cut off from right above the toe and fold in half...

Place that piece over the main part of the sock and serge (or sew) together.

That's it...you're done!

Sweetness!

I LOVE leg warmers on the girls so I bought several cute pairs of women's knee high socks to redo this week. Yay!!!

In other news...today's advent stocking...as I mentioned before, I write a letter to the girls each day. I try to emphasis the fact that Christmas is about Jesus. I hope that by reading it each day and talking about it throughout the day, they will realize that Santa is just a small part of this holiday.

Today's treat was hot chocolate & popcorn . I was so excited to find these cute little marshmallows at Wal-Mart last week for $1.

Sweet moments. Too bad they can't stay little forever.

They loved it!

Tonight, Hillary Ashton's GAs group went to Kroger to sing Christmas carols and hand out Christmas cards to the customers. I SO WISH I could have seen my baby girl carolling. Luckily she put on a full performance on the way home from church tonight. I LOVED hearing her sing well known Christmas carols...in her own words...haha! You know I am a sucker for kids mixing up words. LOVE IT! Probably one of my favorite Christmas moments. So sweet!

Only 10 more days 'till Christmas!

Super cute! As a matter of fact, I bought the same socks for my (almost 12 year old) daughter to wear when she worked as an elf at our church breakfast last weekend. I agree...for a women, though? Ew.
