Day 357 - A Little This and A Little That...

This morning, I received an email from Allison at House of Hepworths telling me that she chose to feature the Santa Baby Leg Warmers I made for Sophie Le on her blog!!

I feel so honored :o) Thanks Allison. If you are looking for some good projects to work on, visit one of her blog parties...you will leave with a HUGE "to-do" list :o)

And then I was checking out another blog I enjoy, C.R.A.F.T. and I noticed that she mentioned the wooden photo ornaments that they girls made. The girls thougth that was "so awesome!" Haha!

We took it pretty easy today in anticipation of the coming days. We watched a couple Christmas movies, picked up a pizza and made some yummy goodies...

White chocolate covered pretzels with sprinkles :o) Btw, the blue & white sprinkles DO have snowflakes so it is at least a bit "christmasy." Haha! When you live in a house full of girls, pink sprinkles never get passed on :o)

I have lots of special desserts on my baking list, but my big girl would be very disappointed if I didn't make her FAVORITE...chocolate chip cookies :o)

This is my first time to make this peppermint bark. I was looking around on the internet for some yummy treats and I saw a recipe here entitled "really easy peppermint bark"...how could I pass that up? Haha!

And it WAS easy...and really good!!!

I also came across a recipe for Butterfinger wannabes here. I wasn't really looking for anything Butterfinger related, but since I heart Butterfingers, I couldn't pass it up. More than anything I was just curious.

Curious...I better word would probably be skeptical...I mean I LOVE Butterfingers and the thought of using Triskets to make a dessert that tastes like Butterfingers kinda blew my mind. BUT, they are GOOD. Good and easy...perfect combination :o) I am beginning to see a theme :o) Haha!

One last thing...if you sent us a Christmas card this year...THANK YOU. The girls have LOVED getting mail everyday and looking at all of the cards daily. I have them hung on our door that leads to the garage. They love pointing to people they know and also asking about people they don't recognize...and then telling me all about those people the next day :o) Haha!

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve!!! Oh my goodness. I am soooooo excited. It's a good thing because I am not sure how much longer I can wait to give the girls their presents. It's hard being the Mama :o)

Yea! I'm so glad to see you got our card! Things were moving rather slowly here in the card department this year! :)

I ran out of cards :( Maybe you can show them our card on-line LOL! LOVE all of your fun crafts! I don't trust mine with a hot glue gun...you're so brave! I barely trust myself with one!!! Happy 2 days before Christmas!

I'm so glad you tried the Butterfinger Wannabes! it is kind of crazy, but they are a yummy combo of salty and sweet. Kinda fun! Glad you gave it a go.

Merry Christmas!
