I am a Fast Learner...

Jonah's case has a staffing tomorrow. I am not looking forward to it at all. It will decide the direction of his case...the direction of his life.

This morning, I woke up and the first thought on my mind was, "I am not looking forward to tomorrow. I know it is going to be a hard day."

Here is a rundown of my day today...long stories made short..you're welcome :o) Ha!

Garage door broke

Front door key got stuck in front door

CD changer in car stopped working and wouldn't give me back a cd I needed for class tonight

A child of mine got "stuck" at the top of the tubes at the play place and couldn't get down in time to make it to the restroom. First accident since potty training. NO clothes to change into and no time to go home.

During church tonight, my child got her finger smashed in the door. Deep gash. Stitches recommend by several doctors at church.

Went to after care clinic...PACKED..."several hour wait" with tons of sick kiddos in small confined space.

I learned a lesson today...Matthew 6:34 sums it up beautifully...

"So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today."

Dear God, You are always right, today was more than enough trouble. Please know that I learned my lesson. Love, Me.

UGH...poor you, I hope you enjoy your bed tonight ;) As if having the weight of a staffing looming wasn't enough, all that other stuff went on too! I will pray for little Jonah's life decisions tomorrow. I remember I was usually as nervous about those as I was about court! I do not miss that part about fostering at all.

Amy, just remember that you are not given anything that you cannot handle. Fortunately, you handled today, and it's over! I'll be thinking about you tomorrow. Keep your chin up!

I'm praying that today was a MUCH worse day than tomorrow will be! (although now it's actually yesterday and today.)

Hope everyone is okay, and as always, praying for sweet Jonah!!!
