I am so blessed to have not one, not two, not three, not four, but five sweet Valentines this year :o) Thank you God for these good and perfect gifts!
This afternoon, Sophie Le and I had a date. We went to Hillary Ashton's school party :o)
The girls were so excited to see each other. Sweet sisters.
Her mailbox won second place! When I got to the party, her teacher told me that Hillary Ashton's reaction to the announcement was priceless. She said, "You would have thought she won a million bucks!" Haha! I believe her. Haha!
My girl has been very excited about this chocolate fountain. She has been talking about it like crazy over the past week. When we left the party, she said, "Mama, I liked the fountain, I really did...but I thought it was going to be bigger...like as tall as the ceiling. It's okay that it wasn't. I just wish it would have been." Ha!
Sophie Le said, "I can't wait to go to school. These treats are so yummy."
It it soooooooooo nice when they get along :o)
The girls were SO EXCITED when Daddy came home with fun Valentine balloons! And yes, Hillary Ashton's hair IS white...more on that tomorrow :o)
Me and my girls :o)
Thanks Daddy! Btw, Daddy bought larger balloons for the little girls, but didn't want them...they only wanted "little balloons."
Our romantic, candlelit dinner for six :o)
If you see Hillary Ashton in the next couple of days and she tells you that she had wine at her "romantic dinner"...don't believe her :o) No matter how many times I told her that it was juice, she insisted it was wine because it was in a wine glass :o) During dinner, Daddy went to the kitchen to get something and he turned on the light. Hillary Ashton sighed and said, "Daddy is taking the romance out of our dinner. Can you ask him to turn that light off?" Six year olds are so hard to please :o)
Everytime I point the camera in Jonah's direction, he says, "cheese." Cracks me up every single time! Sweet baby boy!
Julianne with her Valentine goodies...sweet baby!
Le Le and her Mickey...that girl is crazy about Mickey...as long as he is smaller than she is :o)
Yep, that is the reaction we were going for :o) Spirited kids are so much fun!
All of the kids got a new book for Valentine's. They took turns sitting in the rocker while I read their books to them...it was my favorite part of the day :o) I have been wanting to get I Wished for You for Sophie Le for years. I finally ordered it a couple weeks ago...I could hardly wait to give it to her. If you have an adopted child, you have to get this book. It is SO, SO SWEET!
She interrupted me several times while I was reading it to her to say, "You are my dream come true too, Mama." Be still my heart.
Happy Valentine's Day!
