Day 103 - Park, Drops & Rolls...

The weather today was PERFECT! Oh how I wish this warm, not too hot, breezy weather could stay around all year!

We couldn't resist paying a visit to the park after carpool this afternoon...

These two hopped/climbed up on the bench together...you know I HAD to take a picture. My little cutie pies!

I see this exact pose a thousand times a day...if you can't tell by looking at the picture, he is saying, "mommy!" It is sooooooooooooooo sweet!

This morning I was cleaning out Cowgirl's fish tank and I noticed that the pump was not working so we stopped by Wal-Mart on the way home from church tonight to get a new one. No one (mostly mama) was too thrilled about stopping by the grocery store tonight. Anyways, our visit to the grocery store took a sharp turn up when my girl spotted...Hershey drops!

My girl LOVES chocolate...really, really, really loves it. Her favorite is a Hershey bar so you can imagine how excited she was when she saw Hershey Drops advertised a few days ago. They are as yummy as we hoped!

As I was loading the groceries into the car, I noticed these buns on the bottom of the buggy...

...ugg! All of the kids were already buckled into their seats and the rest of the groceries were already loaded...it was late...I was soooo ready to go home...so we did. How many more excuses can I come up with? How awful is that?

So, what do you do if you realize you forgot to pay for an item?

Can't say that it has ever happened to me. Obviously an innocent mistake...and I know it is just buns but it sounds like it may bother you. If so, just tear off the upc label and stick it in your billfold. Next time you are in the store just have the cashier ring it up. She'll think you are totally crazy but she'll learn a lesson and your kids will too...;-)

Good idea Leigh! I recently got out of publix, went to unload emmi from the shopping cart to realize she was holding goldfish. They thought I was totally nuts when I came back in to pay for them but I felt better about it.
