Party & School Supply Hunt...Day 225

Do you ever have one of those days when you think, "Wow, did that really just happen this morning?" Today was one of those days for, but LONG!

Today was promotion Sunday at our church. All of the kiddos were promoted to their new classes and did great...they are at church so often and know everyone, that they don't seem to care what classroom they are in or who is teaching them...ha! Hubby and I also tried a new Sunday school class today!

After church, we ate at Quiznos and then came home for naps...unfortunately, not for me, but for the kids...if only they knew how lucky they are to get naps everyday!

After naps, I took the littles to a birthday party while hubby to the bigs took Sunshine's parent orientation at is SOOOOOOO nice having hubby in town!

Every since I can remember, Baby Boy has always covered one eye when he goes out in the sun...I LOVE it :o)
The littles had a blast flipping around the gym!
I am still LOVIN' Sweet Pea's new 'do!!!
Baby Boy and his sweet little friend, L. L is the first name Baby Boy came home from school saying :o) Sweetness!
I am to restrain myself from picking sweet A up and taking her home with me...she reminds me SOOOOOO much of Sunshine at that age!

After supper, Sunshine cleared her plate from the table and came back to find this at her seat...
Her expression says it all...I LOVE this child!
She grabbed her new backpack and was off!
Yep, I have a lot of laundry to do tomorrow! Ha!
The last clue of her school supply hunt led her to the front yard...
Sunshine (and Little Pumpkin) LOVED the school supply hunt! The best part was listening to Sunshine read the last card...

"The most important thing you will need for the whole school year is Jesus, the one who will fill you with cheer. He'll be with you every step of the way - and he'll guide you and bless you each and every school day."

I found the printable here, if you're interested :o)

Sunshine has "meet the teacher" and drop off supplies day tomorrow and starts on Tuesday! I think she's ready :o) Mama...not so much...ha!

This evening, I started working on a small gift for Sunshine's teacher...I will share the details tomorrow!

Is everyone ready for school?

Sweet Pea's hair looks amazing!! I love it!

That scavenger hunt idea was phenomenal. I will have to borrow that when my little guy is old enough to go to school!
