These are my babies...the loves of my life. They each joined our family in different ways...birth, international adoption, foster care...but there is no doubt they were each destined to my baby. I am so thankful for each of my beautiful blessings.
Sunshine, 7
This is my little Sunshine. No matter what kind of a day you are having, Sunshine can make you smile. She is energetic, independent, creative, messy, free-spirited and a dreamer. I admire her so much for confidence and her passion for life. She LOVES to write stories, draw pictures and is happiest when she is covered in dirt, searching for critters.
Little Pumpkin, 5
I dreamed and prayed for this child since I was eight years old. I finally met her on Mother's Day, 2007. She is loving, loyal and mama's little helper. I am constantly amazed by her intelligence and natural abilities. She is my most stubborn, strong-willed child and often tests my patience. She has her daddy wrapped around her little finger and she knows it!
Sweet Pea, 3
When you see this child, you see a miracle. I am humbled that God chose me to parent this little girl. She is sweet, funny, tender-hearted and compassionate. She loves to cuddle and do puzzles. She is my most emotional child. You will always know exactly how she is feeling.
Baby Boy, 2
You will often see this little guy with a heart across his face because he is a foster child through our state. We got the call about him when he was only a few days old and were blessed with the honor of bringing him home from the hospital. Although, you can't see his face, I can assure you he is ADORALBE! He has an infectious laugh and is quite opinionated. He loves playing with balls, trucks and sticks, but don't be surprised if you see him toting around a princess purse and baby doll too.

Little Pumpkin's Adoption Story...in Her Own Words!
Today was picture day at Sunshine's school... and since that child never gets her picture made... we practiced before school. I haven't seen the picture yets, but I am sure it will be one of my most prized possessions... ...all of her pictures are!
We have been blessed with three beautiful daughters. This blog follows the journey to our youngest daughter from Ethiopia as well as the everyday excitement that comes with living with a very energetic seven year old, Sunshine, a super sweet four year old, Little Pumpkin (from Vietnam) and three year old Ethiopian Princess, Sweet Pea.
In March of 2009, our first foster child was placed in our home. We have fostered two girls and two boys. It has been a wild ride! We are currently fostering a precious baby boy we picked up from the hospital as a newborn (he is now 21 months old)...Baby Boy.
