Phone Pictures...

A few random pictures I found on Daddy's phone :o)

Last month, Sunshine attended "Beaus and Butterflies" with her special date...her daddy :o) I shared a few "before" pictures on that day, but I just came across a couple pictures daddy took at the banquet :o) Sunshine and her Daddy sat at a table with Ms. Arkansas and her daddy...just the four of them :o) How sweet is that?
After dinner, Sunshine got to go on stage to answer a question about a Disney princess song :o) Right up her alley!
Sweet memories!

After having three girls, I can honestly say having a boy is SO MUCH DIFFERENT THAN HAVING GIRLS. LIKE REALLY, REALLY DIFFERENT. However, there are some similarities...apparantly they both like to wear tutus and princess helments :o)
When we were in Vietnam, we bought several Vietnamese hats, in all sizes. When we were picking them out, I would have never imagined that one day my baby boy would be wearing one of those hats :o)

I took this picture after church Sunday while we were waiting on our sandwiches at one of our favorite sandwich shops. I thought Sunshine and Daddy looked so cute in their matching Polos :o)
We got a good daddy :o)
Hmmmm, I wonder where Jonah gets the idea of wearing little girl accessories :o) Ha!

These two are from this afternoon...

Remember the veggie garden we planted a few years ago? Well, the garden is long gone, but the super rich soil produced this super sized weed! Wowza!
Sunshine was very proud of herself when she was able to pull it out with one hand!

Jonah and his daddy...his forever daddy :o)

Kids Speak the Truth...

We were out eating lunch and a super nice, older lady came over and said,
"Your kids are all so beautiful and well behaved."
As soon as she walked off, Hillary Ashton said,
"She sure doesn't know us kids very well."
My kids always keep me humble!

Superkid 2012

Little Pumpkin attends the sweetest preschool program at our church. I just LOVE it! The class is very small so the teachers are able to tune into each child's personaility and little spirit...exactly what my sweetie needed this year!

One of my favorite things they do is "Superkids." When the child is the superkid of the week, they get to be the line leader, sit in the "special" chair, bring pictures and a special show and tell.

It seems like just yesterday it was Sunshine sitting in that same chair talking about her poster!
Little Pumpkin did just a great job talking about her favorite and telling her friends about each of the pictures she chose to take...including the one of her birthmother and sister. I was SOOOOO proud of her!

Sweet Noah's Kids friends!

I could not ask for better teachers! We are so blessed!

Her show and tell..."old school" Mickey Mouse.

Little Pumpkin's Superkid poster...

So thankful for my superkid!!!!!

Easter 2012

Thank you for the sweet comments yesterday :o)

Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him. Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. And they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?” But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away—for it was very large. 5 And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.

But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.

He is risen. He is risen Indeed!

Easter Weekend...

It's Easter weekend...yayayayay! Easter is my very favorite holiday. It is the cornerstone of our faith as Christians. Easter is truly a CELEBRATION!

We started our day at our church's annual Easter egg hunt...
As I pulled out of the parking lot after the hunt, I glanced in the backseat to find this...
They had a hard hunt :o)

We met Mimi and Papa Paragould for lunch at one of the kids' favorite restaurants, CheeBurger, CheeBurger. Afterwards, we came back to the house for another egg hunt :o)

They had a good haul today!

Tonight, our church's {amazing} choir and orchestra presented an Easter Concert, Overcome. The kids' choir had a small part in the program...

After the kids went to bed, I checked downstairs and caught the Easter bunny munching on the carrots the kids left out for him :o)
