"A long time ago a wish started growing in my heart. At first, it was a quiet wish that nobody knew. Then it became an out-loud wish that grew and grew and grew." Until one day, my wish came true."*
Ninh Thuan, Vietnam - May 13, 2007
"What did you do when you first held me? I fell deeply in love with you. I looked into your sweet face, and right then, you became my wish come true."*
Hanoi, Vietnam - May 2007
On Mother's Day 2007, I was finally able to hold the baby I prayed for, hoped for and wished for, for over twenty years. It was truly a dream come true.
I am so thankful to God for not only making my dream come true, but also for orchestrating it in such a way that I would meet her for the first time on Mother's Day.
As I reflect on that life-changing Mother's Day five years ago, this verse keeps coming to mind...
"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us..."
